Kerzan's in Dortmund

Good food at the new tenant of Kerzans. The menu is similar and doesn't disappoint regulars either.

Tasty Dortmund-Neuasseln: This traditional restaurant is located in a rather inconspicuous building on a thoroughfare, and its associated hotel is in a separate building diagonally across the street. The character of the restaurant is oak, dark stained. Historical photos of the building and rural interior decoration appear harmonious and traditional. Hearty German food is served from excellent ingredients that are skillfully processed. The menu is manageable, but the range on offer is convincing: light, tasty soups, great meat, opulent sauces, and such desserts. The service is friendly, attentive and professional. Not cheap, but real price.

This hotel / restaurant has not been operated by Kerzan since 01.01.2020. The owner is Yugoslav or Croatian. You can tell by the taste. The Sebian bean soup was particularly successful

The first time slept well in the hotel and the menu of the hotel was plentiful and the normal price 18.80 euro (3gang) without drinks breakfast plentiful

The restaurant is closed Monday - Wednesday. There is only 1 place in the town for dinner.

Is a family hotel or restaurant with hotel! Very family and nice !!! Good value for money. Of course not a 4 star hotel! Very good traffic and super connection to bus and train. Always use it when BVB plays!

I would only give the hotel three stars, but the kitchen makes up for it ... Simple, clean, large rooms with very narrow beds. The bathroom was newly renovated and good. The hotel is right on a main road. Our room faced the street and was very noisy due to the heavy traffic. For breakfast there was an egg and a cheese - sausage platter, Nutella and jam, wheat rolls, and pre-packaged VK bread slices. Orange juice and coffee. In the evening in the restaurant it was very cozy and the food was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and brisk, but unfortunately a bit spoiled. In the end we paid more than we had drunk. That was a shame. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and competent.

Kerzan is a nice place. They have a bus-stop directly in front of the hotel. The rooms are small, bathroom is very small and the breakfast is very poor, but the staff is really friendly. It takes about 50 min to the DTM airport.

Excellent food! Very nice rooms for celebrations. The only drawback: The toilets are in the basement. There are several stairs to be overcome - not handicapped accessible.

Several times we were there in the last weeks. The service is always welcoming and always saying that I have not even been forgotten and my glass was never really empty. What comes out of the kitchen is always a poem here someone understands his profession which is no longer self-evident today. The map is good Bourgeois with a decent selection where everyone finds something.

Very near to airport , clean rooms with a w/c and shower in the room , TV , only bit I did not like was the bed uncomfortable I had back pains in the morning.

Bathroom very small, shower and toilet very narrow, you can hardly turn around in the shower. Otherwise clean. Furniture spartan but not worn out. Operator and staff friendly and courteous.
